BikeSage is a community of experienced, street-wise and passionate urban bicyclists that proactively encourage people within their own networks to discover the joys of bicycling.
There are a number of would-be cyclists that need a little nudge to overcome the barriers to biking in an urban environment. Experienced BikeSages actively seek-out these people, identify their obstacles and allay their fears, and then organize a couple rides to show them the ropes.
BikeSage hopes to inspire people to rethink their transportation options by occasionally traveling by bicycle where they previously would have utilized an automobile.
